Little is known about "J. L. Kennon". In Kennon's only known book, The Planet Mars and Its Inhabitants: A Psychic Revelation, the 'transcriber' (to whom Iros Urides is communicating psychically) is referred to as "Mr. Kennon". The book is copyrighted by Mabel J. McKean, who may be the true author. However, L. W. Curry in his listing for the book lists the name under which this book was published, "Iros Urides," as a pseudonym of James Scott Marshall. Chavey 00:43, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
