  • The Third Bullet (1954) is a collection containing:
    • The Third Bullet - Locked room mystery. Although this publication does not say so this is an abridged version of the story. The full version was published in the collection Fell and Foul Play (1991). In the full version the end of the second paragraph says that the .32 is of Belgian manufacture while the end of the first paragraph of abridged is "The other was a Browning .32 automatic."
    • The Clue of the Red Wig - Murder mystery.
    • The House in Goblin Wood - Locked room mystery.
    • The Wrong Problem - Locked room mystery with a twist at the end.
    • The Proverbial Murder - Locked room mystery.
    • The Locked Room - Locked room mystery.
    • The Gentleman From Paris - Locked room mystery. There's a mildly specfict element in that Jezebel seemed to have an unusual hold over the victim.
