The Short Fiction of Flann O’Brien, edited by Neil Murphy and Keith Hopper (Dalkey Archive Press, 2013), includes the John Shamus O'Donnell story 'Naval Control' as Appendix II of that collection, in the considered belief that the story is by Flann O'Brien. While the editors state "To date, no archival material has been found to verify the story's provenance", they put forward compelling evidence for them to justify their inclusion of the story in an O'Brien collection.
