Locus1 claims that "Q. Patrick" is a pseudonym for the writing team of Richard Wilson Webb & Hugh Callingham Wheeler. They don't make this claim for any of the stories we currently have listed for this author (as of 2011-03-03), but for the short story Puzzle for Poppy (1946). The time frame and the unusualness of the claimed name make it extremely likely that this pseudonym relationship applies to this author.
