Born March 24, 1934 in Los Angeles, California.
1953 - 1966 U.S. Air Force (navigator, meteorologist).
1966 - 1973 Asst Professor at Miami-Dade Junior College.
1974 - 1993 Meteorologist at National Weather Service Headquarts in Silver Spring, MD; 1977 - 1993 U.S. Expert in Meteorological Codes.
Attended Florida State University (BS meteorology, 1961) and Florida Atlantic University (MEd 1971).
Married November 1961 to the former Katherine Ann Beman. Three children (Karen, Donald, Amy) and one granddaughter (Rebecca Hernhuter).
Member of Mensa.
