Hillary Lyon has an MA in English Lit from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She currently resides in southern Arizona. There she founded, and is still chief editor for, Subsynchronous Press which publishes the two poetry journals The Laughing Dog, and Veil: Journal of Darker Musings. For years, she hosted a monthly poetry-reading venue, Poetry @ The River. She's had over 40 of her own short stories published in various journals and anthologies. A bit of trivia: she appeared, briefly, as the uncredited "all-American Mom with baby" in Timothy Gassen's 2007 Arizona indie-film, "Vote for Zombie."
