US Social security records have an Isaac Nathanson of 13 October 1882-July 1962, but no evidence that that is the writer, according to Bleiler1. US census of 1920 has an Isaac Nathanson of St. Louis, Missouri, born 1882 in Romania. The 1930 Census gives for the same name (also with spouse Mary) a birth date in 1881, also Romania. Here might be his grave.
