J. L. Dobias 1951 was born,raised,and now makes his home in Michigan. He has been employed as the head of the Electronics Drafting and Documentation department of the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory at MSU. Presently he works at Instrumented Sensor Technology as Engineering and Customer Support. His father introduce him and his brothers to science fiction at a very early age. Having enjoyed 50 year of reading science fiction he has spent several years enjoying writing in the same genre.
