Lois Bull published works as Lois Bull, Dale O'Hara, Melville Burt, Cecily Bowman, and Judith Grovner Wright during the period 1931-1937. She married Stanton Habersham, and copyright renewals list her as Lois Bull Habersham. She wrote in a wide variety of genres, including detective and mystery novels [at least 8 stories in "Complete Detective Novel Magazine" (1932-35)]. One of her most important works was "Broadway Virgin" (1931), which was made into the movie "Manhattan Butterfly" (1935).
