Richard Dale Mullen was born on 30 September 1915 at Mountain View, Howell County, Missouri. He was the son of Curtis Hollis Mullen and Vernice Leota Brassfield. Richard Dale Mullen married Laoma Brummett, daughter of Ike Brummett and Katherine Rettic, in 1938 at Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee. Richard Dale Mullen became a widower with the death of Laoma (Brummett) Mullen on 16 March 1994 at in Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana; at 3:30 p.m. Richard Dale Mullen died on 8 August 1998 at Davis Gardens Health Care Center, Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana, at age 82; at 11 pm.". --Dirk P Broer 09:51, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
