William Markly O'Neal is a native Hoosier, coming from a dark place of perpetual shadow somewhere in central Indiana.

In November, 2007, his short horror story, Bob Bodey's Body Parts, was published in issue #346 of Weird Tales magazine.

Bob Bodey's Body Parts was also selected by Wildside Press to be included in the anthology Weird Tales, the 21st Century: Volume One, which is still available through Amazon.com.

A dark comedy Mr. O'Neal wrote, called The Rejection Letter That Destroys the World, was published in November 2008, at Written Word Online Magazine. It was the cover story for Issue #15 at that website.

In May of 2011, Mr. O'Neal's novelette, Sensory Desolation, was featured in Cover of Darkness, a regular anthology from Sam's Dot Publishing.

A script Mr. O'Neal wrote for a One Minute Weird YouTube video (Volume 3, #8) can now be viewed on the official Weird Tales website. I Was a Teenage Beehive can also be seen on Youtube.

In the Special Winter 2012 issue of Cover of Darkness from Sam's Dot Publishing, Mr. O'Neal had a dark poem published entitled Delusions on the Rocks.

Later this year, 2012, a short horror story written by Mr. O'Neal entitled The Black and Blue Wasteland will appear in the December issue of Cover of Darkness.
