ISFDB talk:Data Consistency/Pseudonyms in Collections

From ISFDB
Jump to navigation Jump to search

I will be working on the single-author collections, since they seem to be the ones that need the most work. The anthologies that I've checked appeared to have real instances where pseudonyms were used in the publications. If anyone knows of any collections in which an author actually used a pseudonym, please let me know. This is only when the pseudonym is used on the title page of the story, not in the acknowledgements, introduction or copyright page. Thanks. Mhhutchins 20:12, 15 Oct 2007 (CDT)

My Best Of Kuttner 2 is the only one I can think of. My Best of Kuttner 1 DIDN'T do it that way, but might have in the one Unapersson verified. BLongley 13:47, 16 Oct 2007 (CDT)
The Early Del Rey is another with title-page pseudonyms. BLongley 09:24, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Lost page numbers

The following pubs lost some page numbers when the authorship was changed. If you're able to make corrections, please indicate when they've been made. Thanks. Mhhutchins 19:30, 16 Oct 2007 (CDT)

Request for a change in this script

Is it possible for someone to create a script similar to this one, but omitting the ANTHOLOGY type, leaving only the COLLECTION type? Thanks in advance. MHHutchins 04:17, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Hm, I thought I made the change some time in late 2007, but it looks like I never posted the results here :( Sorry about that, I should be able to post an updated list on Sunday night or on Monday night. Ahasuerus 02:25, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Done and done! Seems to be much more manageable too. Ahasuerus 04:42, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
