Title: Marvel Tales, some issue also add a subtitle, so the full title becomes Marvel Tales of Science and Fantasy

  • Consulting Editors: Raymond A. Palmer (credited in #1), Walter L. Dennis (credited in #1, as Associate Editor in #3, 4 & 5)
  • Associate Editor and Art Director: Lloyd Arthur Eshbach (credited in #1, 2 & 3)
  • Art Editor: Clay Ferguson (credited in #4 & 5)
  • Southern Representative (advertising & circulation), Alvin M. Gaines (credited in #1)

Price: May 1934 - $0.10, subsequent issues $0.15. Some issues (as seen on the Internet) have "25c" stamped on the cover, but it's not clear when this repricing occurred.

Note: Nominally a semi-prozine, this magazine published a number of stories by leading SF authors from Robert E. Howard to Clifford D. Simak. P. Schuyler Miller's "The Titan" was serialized in the last 3 issues, but the magazine folded before the serialization was completed.
