Notes: According to Miller/Contento, the numbering continued from Star Detective, a non-genre magazine which had been published since May 1935, which is why the first issue is Volume 2, Number 6. Contents and cover scans are available at the FictionMags Web site. According to Tuck, this was a companion to Marvel Science Stories emphasizing sex and terror. (Tuck states that there were 7 issues starting with the October 1938 issue, but apparently the first genre issue appeared in April/May 1939.)
