Wellman's After Dark

I've accepted your update of this pub, but changed the pub type from "Hardcover" to "hc", the standard abbreviation used here on the ISFDB. Other acceptable abbreviations include "pb" for mass-market paperback, and "tp" for trade-size paperback. Thanks. MHHutchins 22:20, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

SFBC edition of Wellman's After Dark

I accepted your submission for the SFBC edition of this title, making the following changes:

  1. Research shows that this was a selection in May 1981, so I changed the unknown date of publication to 1981-05-00.
  2. To indicate that this is a SFBC edition, I changed the publisher to "Doubleday / SFBC".
  3. I changed "Hardcover" to "hc" (see above for exlanation).
  4. If the pub doesn't have an ISBN, you can use a catalog number, but it must be preceded by the number sign to make it obvious that this isn't the ISBN. In this case, I assume "6376" is the SFBC number from the dustjacket. I changed it to "#6376".
  5. Because book club editions rarely have printed prices on them, just leave this field blank. Don't use "unknown" or any other designation. If you have the SFBC announcement flyer stating the price, you can place the actual price in the field. Or if you have access to Locus listings which provides the price as well. I do, so I made the price $2.98.
  6. I removed the note as the change in publisher indicates this as a book club edition. If you have the actual book, you can add the gutter code in the notes field, which will give us an approximate printing date.

Thanks for your contributions. I look forward to further submissions. MHHutchins 22:33, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
