The Third Craft by Harris

I have approved your submission for The Third Craft, but have made several changes to conform to ISFDB standards and practices. I am mentioning them here for your information and so you can use them in making future entries.

  • The code for a standard mass-market paperback is "pb" not "softcover". The code for a larger trade paperback is "tp". The code for a hardcover is "hc". These are simply local conventions, but they help keep things organized. See Help:Screen:NewPub for more details.
  • The standard type for a book-length work is "NOVEL". The unusual "CHAPTERBOOK" type is for the separate printing of a work of less than novel length (less than 40,000 words) which generally means less than 100 pages.
  • The Price should be the cover or list price, not the discounter price available form Amazon or any other vendor. it should include a currency symbol of $ for US Dollars, C$ for Canadian Dollars, A$ for Australian dollars, L (or a proper pounds sign) for UK pounds, etc.
  • The image URL should point to a pate that holds only the actual image, not a sales record for the book. On amazon, this usually means a URL that starts with http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images. You can get such URLs from an amazon sales display by right-clicking on the cover image and choosing properties.

Thank you for your submission, and I hope you make further contributions. -DES Talk 16:20, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
