Welcome!

Hello, Goobergunch, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Hauck 07:08, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

Your submissions

Hello, I've approved your submissions. I supposed that you own a copy of the diverse books. To avoid some questions from moderators or contributors, don't hesitate to PV the book, this will give us a reliable source for the data (and delete eventually the "Data from XXXX" bit if unappropriate). Thanks for contributing. Hauck 07:11, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

The lovers

Hello, I've put your submission on hold as it seems to me (I'm not an expert on such matters) that the link given in your proposal is for the "1st Ballantine Books hardcover ed." and not the second pbk printing. Am I mistaken? Hauck 08:11, 17 December 2017 (EST)

No, this looks like an error in the book that I failed to check. (The copyright page identifies the LCCN as 78-19723 and then goes on to state all of the Ballantine printings starting with "First Edition: May 1979" (this is the hardcover).) Thanks. --Goobergunch 15:48, 17 December 2017 (EST)

Stories of the Raksura: Volume 1

Hello! Are the Appendices in this publication really SHORTFICTION or are they maybe of the type ESSAY? Stonecreek 00:20, 14 May 2018 (EDT)

While Appendix I is a simple character listing, Appendices II and III are presented as in-universe observations from scholarly characters. --Goobergunch 23:50, 14 May 2018 (EDT)
Okay, thanks for the information! Stonecreek 00:01, 15 May 2018 (EDT)
Would it be possible to verify the exact title ( and subtitle) on the title page? Is there really a 'volume 1'?
And while I'm at it, could the appendices then be considered part of the series? Thank you. MagicUnk 00:19, 15 May 2018 (EDT)
The full subtitle is "Volume One: The Falling World & The Tale of Indigo and Cloud". I've updated accordingly, and also added the appendices to the series. --Goobergunch 21:59, 15 May 2018 (EDT)
