Peter Cooper's The Jeweller of Rassylon

Hello, I have put your submission on hold. 1) I do suspect that the publisher is the same as the previous titles in the series: Omnibus Books / Scholastic Australia. Is that right? (A publisher named Omnibus Books/Scholastic would be another publisher.) Note that at ISFDB you are able to click on the publisher and have an overview of the years the publisher was active, and a new, unknown publisher would open another list with no regard to previous publications. 2) The publication series Tales of the Blue Jade isn't meaningful since the other books were part of a title series (to be entered on the level of the title): the novel would be part of this series even when published by another publisher. (I'll correct this when you answer for clearance of the publisher). Thanks for contributing anyway! Stonecreek 14:29, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

Sorry, part of this is my fault. I accepted the prior two submissions and fixed them up but ran out of time and did not get to deal with the third one or leave a note yet! So, Hallegat, hello and welcome! I accepted a couple of your Tales of the Blue Jade submissions but had to make a few small changes:
  • I changed the publisher from "Omnibus Books/Scholastic" to "Omnibus Books / Scholastic Australia" to match the name we already have for that publisher (after confirming on the Scholastic Australia website).
  • "Tales of the Blue Jade" is a title series (works linked by plot, setting, etc., which would still be in the same series if published by another publisher), not a publication series (works grouped by the publisher, which would not be in the same series if published by another publisher). This catches every new editor, so you are in good company. The Add New Novel screen only allows you to enter a publication series, not a title series. One should almost never fill this out. The Title Series information can only be added after the new publication submission has been accepted (which creates the title record, to which the series can then be added). See Help:How_to_work_with_series for some more information. I removed "Tales of the Blue Jade" from the publications and added it to the titles after I accepted your submissions. See Tales of the Blue Jade.
I also added some OCLC links and a price that I found while researching the submissions. Please review and make sure the information looks correct.
