Date formats

We enter birth dates, death dates, and publication dates in the format YYYY-MM-DD here at the ISFDB. When the day is unknown (as it often is) please use 00. When the month and day are unknown, please use YYYY-00-00. Thank you. -DES ^Talk 03:50, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
