Dreams

Hello Susan, I've put your submission on hold. If you want to avoid later the chore of having to change nearly all the INTERIORART dates from "2000-03" (the date of the publication you import from) to "1999-11" (the date of the publication you import into), please change beforehand (and in one go) the dates in the 2000 publication to the "target" date (1999-11). I'll then approve import the submission. Thanks. Hauck 17:45, 4 May 2017 (UTC)

Done for you. Hauck 15:42, 5 May 2017 (UTC)
Grazie! Susan O'Fearna 17:57, 5 May 2017 (UTC)

Candace Night

Hi, I've changed Candace Night into Candice Night, as the webpage like already was to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candice_Night.--Dirk P Broer 22:58, 8 May 2017 (UTC)

Works for me :D Susan O'Fearna 16:47, 9 May 2017 (UTC)

HTML fix in "Bedlam's Edge"

There was a wrong tag (ULL instead of UL) in your verified Bedlam's Edge. Fixed now. Annie 15:48, 10 May 2017 (UTC)

What's a ULL or UL tag? Susan O'Fearna 16:23, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
The Notes field contains a list. UL is the correct html tag to create the list. ULL was a typo - now fixed. :) As it was verified, I let you know so you do not wonder what I changed when it shows up in your list of changed records tomorrow. Annie 17:09, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
cool thanks Susan O'Fearna 18:33, 10 May 2017 (UTC)

Christmas Is Good!: Trixie Treats & Holiday Wisdom

Per our standards, we only credit the author not the editor. As such, I moved the editor credit to the notes. This is a funny one in that Koontz obviously wrote it, but that is handled by Trixie Koontz being a pseudonym for Koontz. -- JLaTondre (talk) 12:12, 13 May 2017 (UTC)

I have all the "by Trixie Koontz, dog" books and buy them as gifts -- great gifts, great organization. I also have the one by Anna Koontz... Susan O'Fearna 05:51, 14 May 2017 (UTC)

Serve It Forth: Cooking with Anne McCaffrey

I have your edit to add Serve It Forth on hold. The ISBN & cover image you give match Cooking Out of This World. Are you sure you don't have that pub? Thanks. -- JLaTondre (talk) 12:33, 13 May 2017 (UTC)

I'll check that MOnday... right nw sick sic, sick Susan O'Fearna 05:50, 14 May 2017 (UTC)
Yeah, I think so... I'll go fix that? Susan O'Fearna 21:46, 16 May 2017 (UTC)

Angelique

I created the series "Angelique" for Billie Sue Mosiman's two novels about that character, and added the short story which you verified as 0.5 -- that is correct, isn't it? Vasha 18:13, 16 May 2017 (UTC)

I suppose, are you going to add Banished? Susan O'Fearna 21:45, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
Done already. --Vasha 23:17, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
And another question (sorry): is the subtitle part of the story title or only the chapbook? Sometimes the title at the head of the story is different. Also I see that the cover shown has a different subtitle than what you've recorded, maybe you could make a note about the difference between the cover and the title page... --Vasha 12:25, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
I took the title, etc, off the title page. Susan O'Fearna

"Bliss to You: Trixie's Guide to a Happy Life" by Trixie & Dean Koontz

Your verified publication was listed as having been published by "Hyperion". There are two substantially different publishers in the system: Hyperion Books and Hyperion Press, and to distinguish between them we can't use the ambiguous one-word name. Abebooks listed this book as by "Hyperion Books", so I changed the publisher on this book to reflect that. Chavey 17:27, 24 May 2017 (UTC)

When I get home from work I'll grab the book and check, thanks Susan O'Fearna 18:18, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
just checked it over and made notes Susan O'Fearna 09:24, 25 May 2017 (UTC)

The Zenna Henderson Collection

Hello Susan, I'm not convinced of the interest of listing all "phantom" titles that were, at a time, announced by a publisher, particularly when there is no new material. Perhaps should you bring the matter before the community. Hauck 09:46, 4 June 2017 (UTC)

Well, it was announced complete with ISBN and I've received an email that it was ARC-ed so I think it should be here... Susan O'Fearna 10:07, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
I've approved the submission, perhaps should you include this data in the notes. Hauck 10:30, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
Cool, will do Susan O'Fearna 01:58, 5 June 2017 (UTC)

External Identifiers

External identifiers (OCLC, LCCN, etc.) should no longer go into the notes field, but now into the new External Identifiers field on publication editing screen. Select the specific type from the pull down, and just enter the number. The software make the link automatically. If you have more than one, just the "Add External ID" button. Thanks. -- JLaTondre (talk) 20:52, 9 June 2017 (UTC)

Cool, thanksSusan O'Fearna 04:42, 11 June 2017 (UTC)
Talking about them - I had been moving them from the Notes to their new places in books you had verified. If I do any other changes, not related to cleaning up these, I will let you know :) Annie 18:43, 14 June 2017 (UTC)

Stay Dead: A Day With the Dead

About Stay Dead: A Day With the Dead

  • There is no price? How did you get the book?
  • There is no ISBN or ISBN? Again, I'm wondering did you get the book?
  • You have a note "exact copyright date from Barnes & Noble". I think you meant the printing date?

https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/16717 has

  • Price $0.00
  • Published: June 14, 2010
  • Words: 1,210
  • Language: English
  • ISBN: 9781452383040

As you had not stated a price and said "no ISBN" I assumed you got it from another site. For example:

--Marc Kupper|talk 02:06, 13 June 2017 (UTC)

It was free from B&N but I don't think it was permanently free or even available at BN/SW -- no print date, it's an e-book Susan O'Fearna 18:00, 13 June 2017 (UTC)

A Wrinkle in Time Trilogy

Hello Susan, I've approved your submission (and added a missing <ul> on top of the notes) but I'm surprised by the last line "4th printing per numline 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4" which seems contradictory. Can you have a look? Thanks. Hauck 06:17, 20 June 2017 (UTC)

isn't that what the numline means? Susan O'Fearna 06:33, 20 June 2017 (UTC)
Well, no, as the lower digit indicates the printing, in this case a third one.Hauck 06:59, 20 June 2017 (UTC)
cool, I'll change it Susan O'Fearna 07:10, 20 June 2017 (UTC)

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Hello,

I have your updates to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone on hold because of the printing note. As an 8th printing, the date needs to be set to 0000-00-00 (unless if you have a specific information when the 8th printing was). This will lose the date of the first printing which the item now carries. So if you have an 8th printing, instead of taking over the original, you should clone and add the note for the printing there. Alternatively, I can accept yours and add a first printing one after that. Let me know what you prefer :) Annie 14:28, 26 June 2017 (EDT)

If you'll accept mine I won't have to enter the changes again... Susan O'Fearna 14:40, 26 June 2017 (EDT)
True :) Done. The 1st printing is now also added and I changed the date on that one to 0000-00-00. Annie 14:46, 26 June 2017 (EDT)
What I was wondering is if the illustrated version should be a variant of the regular novel... Susan O'Fearna 02:01, 27 June 2017 (EDT)
The text seems to remain unchanged, so I think it shouldn't be varianted. Christian Stonecreek 02:17, 27 June 2017 (EDT)
Cool, answers that question ☺☻ Susan O'Fearna 02:18, 27 June 2017 (EDT)
It is exactly the same text so no need to variant I think. :) Annie 02:21, 27 June 2017 (EDT)
