Babel-17

Thanks for submitting the French translation of Babel-17! I approved the submission a few minutes ago, but then removed Amazon's price since we only record original prices :) Ahasuerus 12:54, 5 Apr 2008 (CDT)

Rupture dans le rée"

Just to let you know that I have approved the addition of Rupture dans le rée - 1. Emergence and then made the following changes:

  1. Changed the name of the cover artist from "Ziewe, Jürgen" to Jürgen Ziewe
  2. Changed the format of the date from "2001/02/00" to "2001-02-00"
  3. Moved the image (http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2367/2435626897_4725902b6d.jpg?]) to the Notes field until we can determine if we have the owner's permission to link to it

Would you happen to be the owner of the Flickr images that you have been submitting? If so, is it safe to assume that it's OK to link to them? Thanks! Ahasuerus 03:42, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

All these changes are perfectly OK for me. The image is scanned by me and put on my flickr account. Does this mean I have to keep it forever ? Or do you have a better solution to upload cover images ? 16:09, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll move the links to Flickr images to the "URL" field then :) Ahasuerus 17:41, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
I added a missing 'P' to the translator's surname. Phcalle 16:12, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Currently, the ISFDB only links to images hosted elsewhere, it does not host any images on its own server. Therefore, if the copy of the image that we link to is taken down, we lose the image. Since we very recently moved to a server of our own (off of the TAMU site) we are considering directly hosting images, But there are both technical and policy matters to settle before that happens, and Al's time is of course limited. -DES Talk 16:46, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Miles Vorkosigan

I was reviewing your submission of Miles Vorkosigan and I wasn't sure that I understood the Note field correctly. It seemed to suggest that the book was a translation of The Vor Game even though you wanted to add it to the Vorkosigan's Game omnibus. I checked a few online sources and they confirmed that this book contained only The Vor Game. I the rejected the submission and used the rejected data to create a new publication under The Vor Game. Could you please take a look at the result when you get a chance to see if everything looks OK? Thanks! Ahasuerus 03:54, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

It is ok -- it was late in the night and I missed the correct title ... Phcalle 16:18, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
