Steps In Time

Hello, I've approved your submission but had to make some change to conform to our standards:

  • I've uploaded a scan into our systeme as we're not allowed to deeplink to the specified website.
  • I'm surprised by the price in USD for what seems to be a british publication.

I've approved your submission but you'll have to respect some rules:
  • Do not change the container type (the initial ANTHOLOGY record).
  • Do not enter another ANTHOLOGY record (you added two).
  • We regularize the author's names so "T W Embry" becomes "T. W. Embry" and "P J Roscoe" becomes "P. J. Roscoe".
Note that I've changed "Ron Ford" to "Ron Ford (I)" supposing that he's a different person than the existing one dead in 1965. Thanks for contributing. Hauck 16:45, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

Timeless Tales Magazine

I have had to reject your submission for Timeless Tales Magazine. We only accept webzines that are a market which makes the author eligible for SFWA membership or which have been shortlisted for a major award. That doesn't seem the case here. CEA Greatest Anthology Written

I accepted your edits to CEA Greatest Anthology Written. However, I changed the editor credit to "Shaun M Jooste" (added middle initial) based on Amazon Lookside. It doesn't show the title page so is the name given there? Also, this is a mixed genre anthology. Are the three stories you entered all genre? Everything at the start is CONTEMPORARY, HISTORICAL & ROMANCE (up to M.D. Pitman) then CRIME, MYSTERY & PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER (up to Stacy Savage)

I've put your submission on hold on two grounds: 1) we do not record author's names "as the authors wished them to appear", we record author's names exactly as they are printed on the title page, 2) it seems that you entered all the content of the anthology, including the first two sections (contemporary & crime) that falls outside our scope as per our ROA. Please confirm that all author's names are as printed and thta all submitted entries are spec-fic. Note that I've also deleted the already entered texts that are not allowed in the db. Cat Tails: War Zone

Hello,

We credit stories by publication dates and not by copyright - so I had reset the dates for most of the stories in Cat Tails: War Zone. I've also fixed a few author names - please make sure you follow the regularization rules even if the book uses different punctuation. The author name rules are here. Thanks for adding the stories.
