Hazel Iris Addis (born as Hazel Iris Wilson) is a British author and the husband of Eric Elrington Addis. Together they have a daughter named Valery Ann Addis and a son named Jeremy Addis. She writes under both "Hazel Iris Addis" (for various editions of the Cub Scout Manual and other books for Cub Scouts) and as "Hazel Adair" (for all other works). She is the author of ''Mahogany and Deal'', ''Quoth the Raven'', ''Stranger From Space'' (with Ronald Marriott), ''The Enamelled Bird-Cage'', and ''The Darkest Hour''.
