A member of both SFWA and HWA, Rich is an author of fiction and non-fiction. His non-fiction works include co-author of The Warrior's Edge and contributing author to The American Warrior, as well as numerous technical and historical articles in trade journals. He is a regular in the Heroes of Hell shared universe anthology, and has been published in 6 books in the series. He is published in 3 volumes of the Sha'Daa: Tales of the Apocalypse series, to include the recently published Sha'Daa: Inked. He is editor of The Book of Night, an illustrated book of macabre poetry, from Moondream Press. He is published in the Night Chills horror anthologies What Scares the Boogeyman?, Terror By Gaslight, and Dark Corners from Ironclad Press.
