In a autobiographical article in the November 1952 issue of Other Worlds Terry refers to himself as Bill Terry and gives his birth date as December 11, 1921 in Galesburg, Illinois .--swfritter 15:42, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

Biographic data from Jane Frank's "Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists of the Twentieth Century" which used data from Robert Weinberg's "A Biographical Diction of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists". From Frank's, "Born Willis E. Terry, III in Galesburg, Illinois, Terry used the name "William" professionally (and "Bill" informally), etc" pg 447 lt col middle.
