The export content tool allows you to clone just the content of a publication into another existing publication. This allows you to easily copy the contents of a collection publication into another collection publication that only has the metadata recorded. Unlike the cloning tool, this method also allows you to export magazine contents into another magazine record. Use this tool carefully, as it adds the content to whatever existing content may be present.

The tool asks for a publication tag or publication record number. Place either into the box labeled "Export Into:" and click on the "Export Content" button.
