:: It seems that the Nós publication is a fourth printing of an edition that may have been published in 2004 (it also may have been a different edition, for example hardcover). I'll set the title to that year. A similar case seems to be with 1984. Stonecreek 12:29, 20 January 2019 (EST)

Welcome!

Hello, Ged, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Stonecreek 15:55, 19 January 2019 (EST)

Nós

Hello, and thanks for contributing! First, it's best to ask at the help desk if you encounter any problems, otherwise your questions may be lost in the heat of managing submissions. You can directly link cover images to amazon, if they are displayed there, or you are allowed to upload them in the way described in the help stated above. You can add contents while editing a publication via adding titles and choosing the right title type(s). Hope that helps.

Is it really the fourth (Portuguese) edition or did you mean to enter the fourth printing of this edition? Stonecreek 01:49, 20 January 2019 (EST)

Hi there, thank you. I do have to take some time to search for certain topics at the Help Desk page and get used to the process, but I look forward to add the data from the Portuguese books; as a main goal.
About the images, there aren't on amazon but I think the publishers with give a positive answer, since I don't own a scanner. Already found the content help page and will look into it. About the edition: I had to :google about this topic to know the specific difference between edition and printing, because the Portuguese books "detail page" (what is the proper name in English?) lacks that kind of information.
Before get into it, should this problem be posted at the Help Desk page??
For example, at my "We" book it states: "Copyright 2004 Antígona for these translation" and "Date of Publication May of 2017 (4th edition)".
Even look at national library databases for more detailed information, like an UNIMARC profile, but is as plain as the "detail page" : 1
But then again, at my "1984" book it states "copyright 2007 Antígona" and "date of edition Lisbon, April 2012". UNIMARC page: 2
So, should this mean that "We" is a 4th edition and "1984" a 2012 reprint?
