::All set. They were all in the publisher series. I removed the two that were in the title series and deleted that. It's easy enough to change if we want it to be different. You can also edit [http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/pubseries.cgi?7682 The Insignia Series] if you'd like to include a link or notes. I did notice #1, {{P|675012|Japanese Fantasy Stories}} is the only one you have not marked as primary-verified. --[[User:MartyD|MartyD]] 23:12, 23 July 2018 (EDT)

Welcome!

Hello, KMatsuura, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!--Dirk P Broer 21:39, 21 July 2018 (EDT)

The Insignia Series

Hi, and welcome. I have a question for you about the Insignia series. The ISFDB has two different concepts of "series". There is a "title series", where all of the works in the series share something in common (universe, theme, etc.), and the titles would still be in the same series regardless of who published them. And there is a "publication series", where books are arbitrarily grouped by the publisher and assigned some label, and the grouping and label would likely not be used by a different publisher publishing the same works.

For "The Insignia Series", we have a mix of both of those. There's a rather incomplete title series, The Insignia Series, and a more complete publication series, The Insignia Series. One of these two treatments is inappropriate, but which one? If you tell me which is the appropriate treatment, I can fix them (or you are welcome to do so if you'd like). Thanks, and thank you for contributing. --MartyD 10:48, 22 July 2018 (EDT)

Hi MartyD,

Thanks for your message. I was a bit confused about the different options for listed series'. I think a publication series listing is better because the books are all standalone anthologies but 'The Insignia Series' is my label and wouldn't be used by another publisher. Would you mind making sure that all 5 books are listed as a publication series, please? Sorry, I'm still learning my way around in here! KMatsuura 01:33, 23 July 2018 (EDT)KMatsuura

All set. They were all in the publisher series. I removed the two that were in the title series and deleted that. It's easy enough to change if we want it to be different. You can also edit The Insignia Series if you'd like to include a link or notes. I did notice #1, Japanese Fantasy Stories is the only one you have not marked as primary-verified. --MartyD 23:12, 23 July 2018 (EDT)
