Web Pages on Author pages

We support multiple sites per author so I approved your edit to add the new site but restored Wiki as well. Welcome again! Annie 23:03, 17 January 2021 (EST)

Stahllilieund der mechanische Löwe

Hello,

I have your submission on hold to clarify a few things before approving the submission.

  • How long is this story? If it is 88 pages, it may be too short to be classified as a novel (we need 40K words in English, +/-10% of that in German generally) - we have a special type (CHAPBOOK) which contain these stories which are too short to be novels but are published on their own.
  • How big is the book? "pb" is for very small paperback (most German Taschenbooks fit under that but anything over 19 cm is "tp").
  • Are the two artists listed in the cover actually artists or is one of them a cover designer? We credit only the artists - everyone else goes into the Notes?

There are a few other issues (price format and the double series) but these are clear and just need cleaning up post-approval (which I can do). Thanks and welcome again! Don't hesitate to post if you have any questions. If it seems like you cannot post here, use the same credentials you have on the main site to login in the wiki (two websites, one backend) and you will be able to add/edit the wiki page. Approved and changed based on the notes above and Look Inside. The result is here. I also added the 2 editions that Amazon.de has here. Are you sure that the 2019 print edition exists? Annie 18:36, 21 January 2021 (EST)

Thanks for your edits - the correct genre is "light novel" and it's more a novella so your edits according to the page guidelines are appreciated. I think the editions might have gotten messed up when the 2019 print received an update (that basically consisted of "the publisher moved places and here is chapter one of book 2"). But it should theoretically be still listed under the same ISBN. As to the size: It's smaller than 19cm. That book is definetly tiny. --Katherina Ushachov 13:15, 1 January 2022 (EST)

Stahllilie und die Liga der Zerbrochenen

Greetings, thank you for adding this publication. When you add a CHAPBOOK, you still need to add the shortfiction title record in the contents section. I took care of it for you here. I went ahead and added the series and series number to the new title record, hope you don't mind. John Scifibones 10:10, 23 June 2022 (EDT)

Thank you! I don't mind - I tried to do it myself but for unknown reasons the respective fields where gray, so I couldn't write anything into them. I still have a lot to learn here and I'm happy you're so patient with me. --Katherina Ushachov 13:11, 24 June 2022 (EDT)
