:Thanks! So, to have this as a review, you would have to add the issue first into the database, and then add the review to ''AN'' (that is possible, since ''De Futurist'' seems to be published only once or twice a year, see [http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/title.cgi?1287595 here] and [http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/title.cgi?1701372 here] for a German analogous example). If you don't want to do that, you might add an essay (like for ''Geek'') and note that it's a review of a Dutch magazine. Thanks, [[User:Stonecreek|Stonecreek]] 11:39, 12 April 2019 (EDT)

Thanks for submitting [http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/pl.cgi?783518 ''Andromeda Nachrichten, #270''] and sorry about the delay in processing! I have approved the submission, merged the new EDITOR title with [http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/title.cgi?2683351 ''Andromeda Nachrichten - 2020''] and linked the two reviews to the reviewed titles. The only substantive change that I made was the removal of Dore van Montfoort, René van Dijk, and Jorrit de Klerk from the list of ''De Futurist, #2'' editors. I made a note of the way that fanzine issue is credited in the Note field.

Welcome!

Hello, Scriptor Praesensionium, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Stonecreek 11:13, 22 October 2017 (EDT)

Thank you for your submissions!

Some editing still is to do to make them fit for the ISFDB standards (as is to be expected for first submissions). Please take your time to study the help pages and/or other similar publications. Please note in particular that Andromeda SF Magazin is actually considered to be a magazine, and there are some specialities involved (the picture should become clearer if you take a look at existing magazines, but please also note the help on that). Thanks again, Stonecreek 11:51, 22 October 2017 (EDT)

One more thing: for old german prices please use the format DM XX.XX, for the new Euros €X.XX. It may seem a bit pickerish, but maybe someday we will run some reports on the developments of prices, and it's much easier to have only one format. Thanks, Stonecreek 15:23, 22 October 2017 (EDT)

Dear Clemens, please do read the instructions. Due to the more complex magazine / fanzine data background there was a lot to do afterwards. Thanks, Christian Stonecreek 00:08, 23 October 2017 (EDT)
Hi, after nearly two months, it seems time to add some information (format, contents) to this. It's not meaningful to have such empty publications in the database. I'm going to delete this in the beginning of the new year, since there also seems no trace of this in the www. Christian Stonecreek 07:51, 27 December 2017 (EST)

Itineration

Hello, as Christian wrote above, please read the instructions for uploading covers (I've done this for you). Also please enter the contents of this anthology and add data that, as its declared Primary verifier, you should be able to enter (like the format). Thanks. Hauck 01:30, 7 April 2018 (EDT)

Can you please take action on this? Otherwise this IS going to be deleted, this week.--Dirk P Broer 15:45, 10 April 2019 (EDT)

Andromeda Nachrichten, #260

Hello,

I approved your addition but had to do a few changes:

  • The price format
  • The author and publisher
  • The series had to be added
  • The title needed regularization.

The result is here. As mentioned before, please check our help pages - while it may not be always straight forward, most of them are pretty easy to follow and implement. Thanks! Annie 00:14, 22 April 2018 (EDT)

Andromeda Nachrichten 262

Hello,

I have your submission on hold. Is this the complete content of the fanzine? Also - please check my note for your submission for #260. I will fix the same issues when I approve this one but can you please at least try to submit these in a way that follows the guidelines? Thanks! Annie 14:42, 18 July 2018 (EDT)

If I may chime in (especially because the editor has never replied here so far): his submission contains only a fraction of the whole content, namely his own two essays (that second one actually being a review of this title). The whole magazine, with a list of contents of course, is available for downloaded from its website. I can't help out editing right now but wanted to let you know. Jens Hitspacebar 13:35, 20 July 2018 (EDT)
Thanks, Jens - I was planning to go looking this weekend. I will work with that! Annie 14:06, 20 July 2018 (EDT)
I've approved the submission and fixed the same issues as with the previous one. will be adding the rest of the contents later this week.
If you are Clemens Nissen or you are a fan of his, you are more than welcome to add your work here but it will be appreciated if you add the rest of the contents when you are doing it :) Thanks! Annie 19:25, 24 July 2018 (EDT)
As for your PV'ed Itineration: As asked for above: please do enter the contents, the format and other information. It is one of the main purposes of ISFDB to enter the contents, and since you are the sole verifier ... Stonecreek 03:35, 12 November 2018 (EST)

Andromeda Nachrichten

Sorry, but after some submissions you should have learned one thing or two about submitting magazines. In your latest submission there are still the old mistakes (format of price, reviews of magazines), as noted above in various posts. I have put it on hold, but am inclined to reject it. Stonecreek 09:47, 10 April 2019 (EDT)

With no answer on your side, and the outlook of putting the load of adapting, changing and correcting the data on other shoulders, I have rejected the submission. Please take a look at previous posts, other magazines and the help pages on how to add & edit correctly. Stonecreek 02:57, 11 April 2019 (EDT)
Well, your newest submission does look a bit better, but it's only a fraction: You got it right that a single issue of a magazine ('Geek') can't get a review, but "Gegen unendlich" is a review of a book and should be entered as such (only with the correct title), and the question is what is "De Futurist,#1" (a magazine or an anthology or something completely different)? Please answer here (talk is vital for ISFBD, else we'll have corrupted data): I'm still inclined to reject this submission because of the incongruencies. I'll wait until tomorrow: Come on, don't be shy! Stonecreek 14:27, 11 April 2019 (EDT)
Without an answer, I have rejected the submission, and installed a more correct version instead. If you wish to enter the missing items, please feel free to do so, but please give explanations on the essays/reviews, otherwise they might get rejected or deleted. Thanks, Stonecreek 05:14, 12 April 2019 (EDT)

"De Futurist, #1" is a dutch online science fiction magazine, consisting of stories (www.defuturist.nl).

Thanks! So, to have this as a review, you would have to add the issue first into the database, and then add the review to AN (that is possible, since De Futurist seems to be published only once or twice a year, see here and here for a German analogous example). If you don't want to do that, you might add an essay (like for Geek) and note that it's a review of a Dutch magazine. Thanks, Stonecreek 11:39, 12 April 2019 (EDT)

Andromeda Nachrichten, #270

Thanks for submitting Andromeda Nachrichten, #270 and sorry about the delay in processing! I have approved the submission, merged the new EDITOR title with Andromeda Nachrichten - 2020 and linked the two reviews to the reviewed titles. The only substantive change that I made was the removal of Dore van Montfoort, René van Dijk, and Jorrit de Klerk from the list of De Futurist, #2 editors. I made a note of the way that fanzine issue is credited in the Note field.

When you have a moment, could you please review the results to make sure that everything looks OK? Thanks in advance! Ahasuerus 18:18, 28 July 2020 (EDT)
