Note: As co-editor of the landmark anthology "Aurora: Beyond Equality", Susan holds an important place in the history of feminist science fiction and fantasy. However, she left the SF field shortly after this book. During the 1990's, she worked as a teacher and educator, especially in multilingual schools, publishing in that field. More recently, she has worked as the project director for "Landmarks of a New Generation - Picture Southern Oregon", encouraging students to take photos of landmarks in their neighborhoods.
