Note: Miwa Sakurai attended 大森望's SF Writers' Workshop in 2016. In 2018, she made her literary debut with her short story collection うつくしい繭. After graduating from college, she moved to Thailand, where she edited a "free paper" for Japanese women at a publisher. She has lived in East Timor, France, and Indonesia, and her stories from her debut collection take place in Asia.
