Operated as Eyre Methuen in the 1970s after a merge with Eyre & Spottiswoode; not all books used that name though so it also continued to publish as "Methuen". Regained its original name completely later (early 80s). One 1911 title page shows (all caps, centered):   Methuen & Co.
