  • Note: US monthly magazine, illustrated June 1893 to March 1929 Sometimes named McClure's Magazine There were stops and re-starts in the 1920s, if not earlier. McClure's was re-styled as a women's magazine in the 1920s and finally issued under the name New McClure's Magazine. --Wikipedia HathiTrust Digital Library provides a full view that may be complete for vols 1–54, 1893 to 1922. Evidently the odd-number volumes begin with June, 1893 to 1896, and span May to October, vols 9–49, 1897–1917; followed by somewhat irregular annual volumes. As of 1906: Volume 27 spans May to October 1906 in six 112-page numbers (as paginated, interiors only, 1 to 672). Publisher: The S. S. McClure Co. Price: Ten Cents ($0.10) each, or $1.00 --title page, bound volume 27 (U Michigan copy viewed at HathiTrust) Samuel Sidney McClure (1857–1949) and John Knox Phillips (1861–1949) founded the magazine in 1893, with Phillips as co-editor.
