    • "Collector's Notes" (uncredited) are on a double-sided laid-in sheet.
    • This edition reprints 8 full-color plates and 6 full-page B&W illustrations by John Schoenherr that were first published in The Illustrated Dune (Berkley Windhover tp, 1978)
    • The last two pages (unnumbered) are a double-page spread of the map drawn by Dorothy de Fontaine. This may be a reprint from an earlier trade edition.
