- Two genuine hits only, found 2018-02-24 in automated search of 1893 newspapers (no price stated): -- listing, The Observer 1893-04-02 p7 "Books Received" -- brief review, Manchester Guardian 1893-04-11 p10 (negative) From that review, the seven stories are reprinted from magazines. "Harmless and not really shocking ... The other tales [except Man-Size] are very thin."
- Gutenberg Ebook #40321 shows following the text "THE END" and under a horizontal line (all caps, quote): London: Printed by William Clowes and Sons, Limited, Stamford Street and Charing Cross. (Publisher advertisements, evidently one page, then conclude the ebook.)
