This is listed on spine and back cover as a 'Whitman Classic'. This is Whitman book #2721, found in lower right hand back cover. Has illustrated inside end papers. The uncredited Preface extensively excerpts Poe's 'The Raven'. All the illustrations are in colorful two-tone format, and many are two pagers. 'The Fall of the House of Usher' also reprints Poe's 'The Haunted Palace' in the body of its text.
