    • John Peter Drummond is a house name used by several authors.
    • On the contents page is states that the original pulp was printed in the Fall of 1947 but in the lower left hand it also states August-October)

    • Only major illustrations are listed, the lead novella also contains numerous spot illustrations on p 14 (2), 15 (2), 25, 28 (2), 29 (2), 32, 33, 37, 42, 44, 45, 46, 47, 49, 50, 52 (2), 53 (2). These are illustrations that seem to have been cropped from larger illustrations, and they do not seem to have been drawn by Vestal, and some are signed Rubinooro or Rubi-nooro. Some have drifted from one issue to another to be used as filler, and some seem to have been cropped from the Jungle Stories comic book.
    • All art is uncredited, credit is assigned by the artist's signature.
    • The Walter Galli features are illustrated one-page non-fiction features.
    • The Dan Cushman story (Jewel of Jeopardy p 78) is not listed because it is not a genre story.
