- "The Publisher's Edition of fifty copies was printed on Classic linen text with endsheets and flyleaves of Curtis Flannel. These books were bound in Japanese cloth by Barbara Blumenthal. Each book has a dust wrapper of handmade unryu paper and is laid into a traycase made by Judi Conant."
- Edition is signed by Kim Stanley Robinson and Judy King-Rieniets on the third unnumbered page after the end of the text, which also includes an illustration by King-Rieniets.
- In this edition the framework of Desargues' theorem, where lines from the proof serve to introduce different sections of the novella, is printed in silver ink; they are printed in black ink in the Collector's Edition.
- Unlike the Collector's Edition, the Publisher's edition lacks an ISBN on the copyright page.
- The traycase is lined with the same unryu paper that the dust jacket is made from.
