Art attributions are based on signatures. A reply to a letter in the January 1953 issue of "Fantastic Story Magazine" mentions that the actual newsstand release date for this issue was December of 1951. Note: The copy used to verify this issue is missing a chip from the lower left hand corner but the last three letters of Schomburg's signature are legible.
