Data from a scanned copy at University of Florida Digital Collections (complete except blank pages, with original cover including spine image):
    • The frontispiece (only page between cover and title page) is a fold-out map of one face of the moon. It is titled "The Moon", with copyright secured by Edward Roth. It states "Engraved by Edw. Busch" and "Drawn by Jos. S. Ward". From the preface by ER -- "To assist the reader in appreciating what is really the most interesting portion of the narrative, a careful reduction of Beer and Maedler's famous Map of the Moon has been prepared exclusively for this work". ... "It is the creditable work of a promising young scientific student, Mr. Joseph S. Ward, a former pupil."
    • The Preface on numbered pages 3-4 is signed "E. R." and dated January 1, 1876.
    • The Contents list is on numbered pp. 5-6, and a List of Illustrations on numbered pp. 7-8.
    • There is no credit for the interior art, but they are a subset of those in the original French Autour de la Lune. 24 illustrations are numbered and titled in the list. Evidently they are reproduced as full-page plates not included in the pagination. The U Florida scan contains the 24 illustrations without the blank pages (mixed verso and recto implied).
    • The novel ends on page 429.
    • From the preface by ER -- "The Moon Hoax is reprinted as a curiosity which many think well worth preserving".
    • The title "The Moon Hoax; or, a Discovery That the Moon Has a Vast Population of Human Beings" appears on the title page before the story.
    • The title above the first chapter is "Great Astronomical Discoveries Lately Made by Sir John Herschel, L.L., D.F.R.S., &c., at the Cape of Good Hope". This is followed by "First published in the New York Sun, in August and September, 1835, from the Supplement to the Edinburgh Journal of Science".
