    • New edition This is the 9th volume in the unnumbered Queen's Treasures --revealed by 1908 to 1910 newspaper advertisements, and front pages of some volumes viewed at Hathitrust-- a reprint series with new illustrations.
    • Publication date is inferred from (and price stated in) the listing in "Messrs. Bell's Books", The Sphere 1910-04-23 p.vii and The Athenaeum -04-30 p536, under the publication series description as "New Volume" --as the earliest notices found in newspapers, where Bell's advertisement is frequent in the weekly Athenaeum. There is a short review in The Bookman 38:223 (April 1910), p25.

Description: Small Crown 8vo. With 8 Coloured Plates and Decorated Title-Page, Covers, and End-Papers. 2s. 6d. net each. Cover, endpapers, and title page appear to be illustrated by the same artist, and to depict the same race of little people in scenes unrelated to the Ewing stories. That race of presumable "Brownies" may not be Woodward's, either. M. V. Wheelhouse may be the cover, endpapers, and title page artist for all Queen's Treasures volumes. The 8 coloured plates were by Wheelhouse in 7 of the first 9 volumes, with now 2 volumes by Woodward.
