• Note: Based in Dunedin, New Zealand. This is, presumably, different than the "Longacre Press" publishing from New York, starting about 1926, and the one in London, starting about 1949. (Those two are likely the same company.) The first publication by Longacre Press in New Zealand known to WorldCat is 1989, in Ahaura, with publications from 1990 on Dunedin. WorldCat lists books by them up through 2012 (only one book in each of 2011-2012), and the Web page listed above has had their account suspended, so it is likely that the company no longer exists. The second page shows the last scan of their web site by the Wayback Machine. By 2013, "Longacre" had become an imprint of Random House New Zealand, with the same typeface used for the characters [comparison of typeface from memory ...clarkmci].
