The 1899 publication record (below) links a title page image. The interior of that book matches the US ed. (NY: Century, 1899) except in its title leaf. Their title page designs are identical including a central emblem, evidently that of The Century Co. --both editions viewed as e-copies at HathiTrust Digital Library William James Gage (1849–1921) became a partner at Adam Miller and Company in 1875 and the Toronto publisher was renamed for him in 1879. --Wikipedia In 1909 Gage claimed a 65-year history from 1844 (see WorldCat record OCLC 861781031). That may be the year Adam Miller started his publishing company.
