Numbering system : straight numeric from 2 to 21. Note that there is no #1 proper and that there is one hole, which is #18. This book was supposed to be _Les Prairies Bleues_/_The Deep Range_ by Clarke (which was previously published in Albin Michel's PB line) but this title seems to have never been printed (it will reappear in Presses de la Cité's Futurama series).
Format : trade paperback, 13 x 21 cm, stayed the same during all the life of the series.
Length : usually runs to around 300 pages with one (the Niven & Pournelle) much longer at 500 pages.
Presentation : stayed the same, illustrated cover on metalized foil with black lettering.
Artists : at first stock covers (mainly from british pbks), then a mix of original artwork and use of the original covers (from DAW).
