The British Authors, and perhaps all Tauchnitz Editions, were published in three formats beginning late 1909, and four formats by 1917, with ℳ1.60 or 2 francs the lowest of three or four prices. (February 1881 is the earliest Tauchnitz Edition back pages catalogue viewed (May 2020), with 41 volumes then in the German Authors series. All of the German lists viewed --all others as 51 volumes-- are alphabetical by author with no volume numbers or years stated.)
