Note: Semi-monthly literary and trade magazine May 1894 to July 1898 Absorbed by The Dial (semi-monthly, Chicago, Illinois) Reported from the cover: "A miscellany & review of belles lettres" Editor: H. S. Stone Publisher: Stone & Kimball, later Herbert S. Stone & Co. HathiTrust Digital Library (hathitrust.org) holdings appear to be complete, as bound volumes from university libraries. Volume 1 from the University of Virginia copy (no other examined) begins with a title page, whose very long subtitle ends "To which are annex'd a Large Collection of Notices of Books", and an index. The first issue spans 24 pages with general information and publisher's announcements pp. 19-21. (Stone & Kimball lists primary address in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and notes some works printed at the University Press in Cambridge. At the same time the partnership is "Stone & Kimball, Cambridge and Chicago". Both partners were students at Harvard College 1890-94.)
