Note: Borderline speculative: A tale of terror that goes into some pretty strange territory. First published in Harper's Bazaar in October 1945.
Synopsis: Kay takes the last seat on the train, across from a grotesque couple. The woman is strangely inquisitive and keeps Kay unwillingly in conversation. She also reveals that she and her companion are performers, whose trick is burying the man alive.
