Synopsis: Thousands of years after the nuclear apocalypse, a North American man and his tame dire wolf enter caverns beneath the former District of Columbia to retrieve his wife, who has been kidnapped from the surface by the United States government, which has been hiding underground all this time. Using his telekinetic and telepathic powers against their technology, he learns that they are about to kill all land animals above ground so that they can emerge once more, unopposed, and he must thwart this plan as well as escape with his wife and wolf.
