Synopsis: "Strange events befall a regular supply ship after leaving Space Station Four. Crossing the orbit of Mars, it begins to whirl at a fantastic speed; when rescued by another ship, it is discovered that the cargo of 'atomic spirit' has vanished. Meanwhile, the captain of Station Four receives a visit from a mysterious girl (named Skrunch!) who threatens to blow up the station unless her planet, Nordhen, is supplied with 'atomic spirit'. The story becomes even sillier after this point. Unlike the better titles issued by Scion, Ltd. and Hamilton & Co., the Baker titles were of such an inferior quality that nobody collected them. As a consequence, copiers are almost impossible to find today . . . which is something of a blessing!"

is additional pence, usually 6 (half a shilling) but
sometimes 3 or 9 (a quarter of a shilling or three-quarters
of a shilling). |
